Privacy
Fervani opens a web page, looks at it, and writes a report. This page explains exactly what that involves, what is stored, and who else sees it. It describes what the product actually does today — not what it might do later.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you create an account. Sign-in is handled by Supabase; if you use Google, Google tells us your email address and nothing else.
- The web addresses you submit. Every audit records the URL you asked us to review.
- Screenshots and text of the pages you submit. We open each page in a real browser at 1440×900 and 390×844, capture both views, and read the visible text and markup.
- A daily count of how many audits you have run, so free-plan limits can be enforced.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of your browsing.
Who else sees it
- Google (Gemini API) — the text and screenshots of the page being audited are sent to Google's Gemini model to produce the analysis. This is the core of how the product works.
- Supabase — stores your account, your reports and the screenshots.
- Vercel and Fly.io — host the website and the browser that opens pages.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services above.
Reports are reachable by link
Every finished report gets a long random address such as /r/8eM95TjXjKRXN_Bm. Anyone holding that link can open the report and its screenshots without signing in — that is what makes reports shareable. The address cannot be guessed and the reports cannot be listed or searched, but treat the link itself as the secret. If you audit a private or staging page, only share its link with people who should see that page.
How long it is kept
Reports and their screenshots are kept until you ask us to remove them. Audits you ran while signed out are not linked to any account and cannot be traced back to you.
Removing your data
There is no self-service delete button yet. Email privacy@fervani.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account, your reports and their screenshots. We would rather say this plainly than claim a button that does not exist.
Auditing pages you do not own
Fervani only reads what any visitor to a public page can already see. It does not sign in, fill forms, or attempt to reach anything behind a login. Addresses that resolve to private networks are refused.
